Armed Incident

As a result of the armed incident that occurred in Victoria Street, Wellington earlier this evening a firearm was located. A male will remain in custody overnight before appearing in court tomorrow for being unlawfully in possession of a firearm. Enquiries are continuing and nothing more will be known until after these have been completed over the next few days.
