Blessing of an imposing nine metre high Pouwhenua at the entrance to the Wairakei Golf Course

Tuwharetoa Kaumatua Tiger Mataara Wall (left) and Sonny Garmonsway officiate at the blessing of an imposing nine metre high Pouwhenua at the entrance to the Wairakei Golf Course near Taupo. The Pouwhenua was commissioned by owner Gary Lane as part of development of a multi million dollar sanctuary on the 180ha golf course property near Taupo.
