Simon is a sustainability expert. He provides training and strategy facilitation for businesses and local government to create effective solutions for the future. Simon is an accredited advisor for The Natural Step and sits on its board of trustees. The Natural Steps internationally acclaimed framework provides knowledge and tools that enable a strategic approach to sustainability. It has been used by many multi-nationals including Panasonic, Electrolux, Nike, IKEA, McDonalds as well as by local governments the world over.
Amongst others, Simon has assisted companies like Les Mills, healthAlliance and Bizzone to integrate sustainable practices and corporate responsibility into their businesses at a strategic level. Simon has also worked with a number of local authorities. He recently worked with Hastings District Council to develop a comprehensive cross-organisational framework, and complementary decision-making tools, that will ensure the council works proactively towards creating a sustainable future for Hastings.
Simon has also been trained by Al Gore and is a qualified Climate Project presenter. He delivers the updated Al Gore climate change presentation free of charge to business and community groups, schools, local government and many other groups.
