Queenstown - Kidnapping update

Queenstown — Queenstown Police have this afternoon revealed that they have identified and spoken with a second person believed to have been present at the violent attack on a 28 yr old Cromwell man and his 23yr old girlfriend at the Crown Range Road intersection with State Highway 6, near Queenstown, on Saturday morning.

Queenstown — At around midnight this morning ( Friday 14/01/2011), Police were notified of a crash on Gorge Road, Queenstown, involving a vehicle which crossed the centre line, mounted the footpath and struck two pedestrians.

Don't alter ski passes!

Queenstown — Queenstown Police are issuing a warning to anyone who has, or is considering, altering their NZ Ski season pass, in order to try and obtain free transport up and down the Mountain - Don't! Police have arrested and charged three overseas Tourists involved in three separate incidents in the past 24 hours after vigilant Ski staff noticed that the Passes presented had been altered.

Police looking for man who approached boy in Queenstown

Queenstown — At about 1:00pm today (08/01/2010) a 13yr old boy, skateboarding outside the Alpine Aqualand building on Joe O'Connell Drive, Frankton, near Queenstown, was approached by a man driving a white Van, similar to a Toyota Hi-Ace or Mitsubishi Delica, who made an indecent suggestion.

Queenstown Covert Drug Operation Results in Arrests

Queenstown — Police today arrested seven people on a variety of drug-related charges including importing, selling and supplying, producing Class B controlled drugs, selling Class A controlled drugs, and offences in relation to Class C controlled drugs (cannabis) and utensils for consuming cannabis.
