Garden Pine Design supplies a range of outdoor furniture that is ideal for those looking to extend their living spaces. They specialize in Cape Cod chairs, but also offer side tables and round tables, to name a few.

Jim Powell founded the company in 1996 and first began as a small, part-time business. Inspired by his wife’s gardening and concerned about the then exorbitant prices of outdoor chairs in the market, he designed his first chair, which became so popular among his friends that it eventually began appearing in local garden centres.  By 1998, he was selling Cape Cod chairs NZ wide and by the following year, he had finished designing the Connoisseur Cape Cod Chair – his most comfortable chair so far.
