Nelson — Cycle Advocates Network member, Bicycle Nelson Bays (BNB) is pleased to announce their new initiative for the Nelson and Tasman regions; Upcycle! BNB spokesperson, Stephen White, says “thanks to funding from NMDHB and support from both Nelson and Tasman Councils, Upcycle! will start on Friday morning, 23rd February, initially in Nelson and Stoke, possibly being extended to Richmond in Aprilâ€Â. Mr White says “it is to be celebrated when advocates, councils and health board are moving together by supporting active transportation which addresses wider issues such as health, obesity and general well-being, as well as traffic congestionâ€Â.
