Shaun Collins, along with Phil Wood run Lactic Turkey Events. Since 1996 Lactic Turkey Events have been injecting a little bit of adventure into their participants lives. Lactic Turkey is a small company run by Shaun Collins and Phil Wood, both of whom are active competitors in adventure races, orienteering and many other adventure off-road type events. Shaun and Phil have full time jobs as a Financial Controller and Builder respectively and run Lactic Turkey as a hobby to give something back to the community and sports that they enjoy themselves. Lactic Turkey organises events throughout the year with the aim of getting people into the outdoors, having a go at something that will challenge them physically and for some events mentally as well.
