Farr Claims His Second while 15-Year-Old Mateja Stuns Women's Field

DUNEDIN — An explosive final day of the 2024 National Surfing Championships has seen Taranaki surfer Daniel Farr claim his second national title by the closest margin in the history of the event.  Another young star has emerged in the Women’s Division with 15-year-old Maya Mateja stunning the field to win the Open Women’s Division.

Hutchison and Hungerford Claim South Island Titles

DUNEDIN — Raglan surfer Taylor Hutchison, has claimed his first win for the season.  The committed regular foot surfer won the Te Kaika South Island Surfing Championships held at St Clair Beach and Blackhead, Dunedin over Easter Weekend.

Tyro and Waite Claim Titles at the Duke Festival While Mouldey and Groube Families Sweep Junior Divisions

CHRISTCHURCH — Jack Tyro (Chch) and Mia Waite (Aus) claimed the premier longboard divisions at the Ray White Duke Festival of Surfing completed at New Brighton Beach, Christchurch today (Sunday 26th March).  They were joined by Tao Mouldey (Mnt) and Chloe Groube (Pau) who won the premier junior divisions at the event.
