Championship titles at stake

Featherston — This weekend’s final round of the 2010 Jetpro Jetsprint Championship has it all on the line for each of the three competition classes – needing to survive the pressure of their rivals on Saturday 24 April at Featherston’s Tauherinikau venue.

Palmerston North's Richard Burt and navigator Roger Maunder are odds on favourite for back-to-back Suzuki superboat titles, with the seasons final round of the 2010 Jetpro Jetsprint Championship being held near Featherston on Saturday. Jetsprint series moves to Wairarapa

Wairarapa — New Zealand's Jetpro Jetsprint Championship returns to the Oldfields Featherston Aquatrack this weekend (24 January), for the second of six rounds in the 2010 season that brings teams from both islands to the Wairarapa region to test their vee-eight powered configurations for competition supremacy.

Suzuki Super Boat defending champion Richard Burt and Roger Maunder of Palmerston North will be the team to beat at Sunday's second round of the Jetpro Jetsprint Championship held to be held at Featherston's Oldfields Aquatrack. Bulls jetsprint team David Stone and Steve Greaves have taken an early lead in their defence of the Jetpro Lites class, with the series second lead being held at the Featherston Oldfield's Aquatrack on Sunday 24 January. Scott Waterjet Group A team Bayden Gray and Tanya Iremonger of Auckland have an early lead in the 2010 Jetpro Jetsprint Championship that continues this weekend at Featherston's Oldfields Aquatrack Featherston's Gary Smith and navigator Suzanne Shirtliff will be flying the local flag for the weekend's second round of the Jetpro Jetsprinting Championship at the Oldfields Featherston Aquatrack this weekend (24 January).
