Raggamuffin behaviour best yet

Rotorua — Rotorua Police are very pleased with the smooth operation of the Raggamuffin festival, with the general consensus being that the crowd for the 2011 event was the most relaxed and well behaved yet.

Rotorua — Raggamuffin is NEXT Saturday 23 January at Rotorua International Stadium featuring Ms Lauryn Hill with Sly & Robbie, Wyclef Jean, Steel Pulse, Julian Marley, Shaggy, Sean Kingston, Katchafire, Sola Rosa with Iva Lamkum, Sweet & Irie and much more! Please note that due to legal action by the band 'Herbs', the band previously billed as 'Pacific Herbs' will not be performing at Raggamuffin 2010.

Rotorua — The inaugural Raggamuffin event has taken on a new level of expectation, with the weekend news that after thirty years UB40 lead singer Ali Campbell is to leave the band to focus on a solo career.

And that's exactly  the musical feast on offer at Raggamuffin, an innovative new event  showcasing the best home-grown and International reggae music, with a  healthy dose of funk, dub, hip-hop and soul!    Raggamuffin will tour Australia and New Zealand, performing in NZ at  Rotorua International Stadium on Saturday February 2nd 2008.
