Crime in Otago Rural down 14.1%

Otago — Crime in Otago Rural (the local authority areas of Queenstown Lakes, Central Otago and Waitaki) continued its downward trend as the Area again recorded further reductions in the total amount of crime reported, with a decrease of 14.1 % in the year to 30 June 2012.

Queenstown - Kidnapping update

Queenstown — Queenstown Police have this afternoon revealed that they have identified and spoken with a second person believed to have been present at the violent attack on a 28 yr old Cromwell man and his 23yr old girlfriend at the Crown Range Road intersection with State Highway 6, near Queenstown, on Saturday morning.

Men Charged In Dunedin Homicide Case
